Wow!! I cannot believe they are all home (in response to the picture of Nolan, Jacob, Cameron and Clay)!! I’ve still have another 7 months.
WE GOT A NEW DATER! Took forever to find his house because it literally is the size of our bathroom back there at home. Completely made out of wood and sheet metal. He is the nicest man you’ll ever know!!! But I still don’t know his name because he speaks mostly Cambodian but with the Thai he does know we communicate and he already has accepted to be baptized :). The only possession he has of any value is a bicycle and a guitar, which he plays to make money to survive and he is so so so so happy :). No bed, no pillow, a rice cooker, a mosquito net, no shower, no air conditioner, no fan, just a guitar 🙂 imagine that.
One thing I’ve learned this week though is that you don’t know how strong you are until being strong is all you have left My mission has been anything but ordinary haha! I’ve seen things most people don’t see in a lifetime. I’ve experienced some things most people can only dream of. I have ridden elephants, explored ancient temples, healed the sick, mended broken hearts, killed huge lizards and rats, survived in harsh elements with just a machete and a native Thai companion, and the list goes on and on. 🙂 Thank you so much for sacrificing money, heartache, worry, time and everything for me to be out here. I love you all!!
